The Beginning

It started with a blow-dry bar.

Before the extensions, before the education courses, before the Instagram following — Malibu was a single chair and a dream: to give every client that just-stepped-out-of-a-salon confidence, without the hours-long commitment.

The blow-dry bar was born from a simple belief: great hair shouldn't be reserved for special occasions. It should be a Tuesday thing. A before-brunch thing. A "I just want to feel like myself again" thing.

Six years later, we've grown — but that founding energy lives in every wash, every section, every perfectly placed round-brush stroke. The blow-dry isn't an add-on service here. It's where our expertise was forged. It's the heart of the house.
